  It’s a really complex case. “Marianne is so intelligent, she wouldn’t have drowned.” But if she was so intelligent she wouldn’t be dating him and doing this amount of drugs and alcohol.

  True crime always makes it seem that just because someone is highly educated/works in education then they can&apos;t be a drug addict.

  My sister is not a careless person…pumping yourself with alcohol and dangerous drugs is beyond careless.

  Married and divorced 3 times seems like a pattern of poor choices where romance is considered. Also, drugs and alcohol don’t mix with pools and hot tubs. She may have had a PhD but clearly lacked good judgement.

  She wasn’t careless, she was a responsible woman. &nbsp;Really? &nbsp;She was sleeping with a known drug addict at his home, mixing different drugs all while drinking alcohol. &nbsp;Moral of the story, be responsible and carful who are associated with, and don’t do drugs!

  WOW. &nbsp;He walked away from a police officer and had time to go into his house and write a suicide note . This entire situation is unbelievable

  I still think that this was an accidental death, the 2 dope heads panicked and it looked like they were trying to cover up.
