  It almost feels like as if those games are consciously designed not to be taken too seriously. <br>It lets people stop playing like it’s competitive sports and relax, making some room for them to just enjoy having fun with their friends instead of just chasing goals.

  I think the term &apos;Friendslop&apos; is always argued about in terms of what &apos;exactly&apos; it means but I always defined it as this: A game that is usually super cheap and REQUIRES a pre-made group to be played while having no lobby browser system. It also cannot be played solo in a meaningful capacity.

  From my perspective, the actual objective in these games are &quot;to betray your teammate&quot;. That&apos;s why rewards for cooperation are trivial but punishment for failure is so high.<br>I would love to see a session in which the players are actually chill: no overreaction, no shouting, everyone plan ahead in the planning window and cooperate to clear the in-game objective, and see how well it receive

  It&apos;s also just nice having a game that because of it&apos;s casual nature, actually allows to socially connect with your friends and mates over the internet more because the game doesnt mandate any efficient communication, you just can&apos;t talk to people on League like you can on REPO.

  Think I&apos;ve seen at least one of them be played by the Party Crashers, a group of 4 YouTubers (specifically King of Skill, TCNick3, Vernias, and Sophist) who create chaos just about wherever they go. Lethal Company being one of said games.<br><br>Teamwork is not in their dictionary at all whenever they play these games.

  I&apos;m definitely gonna tell on myself here, I am fucking horrible at most competitive online multiplayer games. I&apos;ve always been someone who likes turn-based or simulation games, so games like Deadlock and CS:GO are just a wall that I cannot really get past and imo I don&apos;t even find them that fun. Which fucking sucks because almost everyone in my friend group <b>do</b> like those games so what inevitably happens is I&apos;d usually either be left out entirely or I get dragged into high Elo matches by my friends and get my nuts blown off by sweats.<br>That why friendslop is definitely one of my favorite genres now. Now I can still actively play games with my friends and it doesn&apos;t even matter how good I am at the game itself. If anything, me being bad at the game makes the experience even funnier sometimes.

  I still don&apos;t have a game I can play with friends routinely. It always feels like there is barely anything with multiplayer somehow.

  hope this video blows up for you. I normally don&apos;t click low view videos (because most of them are from gamerx9293 on his 213th video of _) but this one looked high quality and the premise interested me. It definitely delivered. I left a like and now a comment for engagement, hoping you get big. <br><br>Also, hoping you might do a video on sandbox games? A genre that has always lured me in, and yet for me it always leaves me feeling a bit empty, yet I can&apos;t stop searching and playing sandboxes.

  I feel like another thing that makes these friendslop games so popular is that they can be any genre. Horror, puzzle, adventure, pvp any game made to be friendslop can be successful.
