  what makes Peak even better is that both dev studios that worked on it, Landfall and Aggro Crab, are run by the kinds of people that just fucking make whatever games they want for the hell of it, and they&apos;re all bangers

  Now that I think about it, some of these games feel like the modern equivalent of Gary&apos;s Mod w/ the boys at 2am and it&apos;s great to see

  I feel like &quot;friendlike&quot; was an inevitable game genre, but covid, short form content, the random popularity of Among Us during covid, and the drama and corruption in the AAA industry definitely sped up it&apos;s introduction and spotlighting.<br>Its also worth noting that a lot of the titans of the gaming industry probably aren&apos;t happy with the direction indie games are going in
