  It is said that the ones who struggle to learn maths are the best at explaining it to others because they know the most confusing part of the topic and will take time explaining it. I am still learning and growing.

  I look at problem. I get stuck. I look at solution. I &nbsp;understand. I do problem on my own without peeking at soluttion. I check for errors and try again. I learn. I get A+ in Math. I do the same for other courses and I get staright &nbsp;A+s

  I was diagnoses with ADHD in my late 40s recently, as a chid math always terrified me and seemed impossible to learn, and i was never able to reach my dream of becoming a scientist but now I&apos;m falling in love with the concept and trying to catch up on 30 years of lost time now i want to become a master.

  at first i did &nbsp;the same mistake i blame myself for looking at the solution but later on i realized &nbsp;that it isnt a crime to look at the solution infact it is the only way you will become good at mathematics

  What I found interesting about Clara Hartley’s anxiety quiz is that it didn’t just focus on how you feel. A lot of the questions seemed to be about what you actually do when you’re overwhelmed, uncomfortable or under pressure. That probably says more than simply asking whether you feel anxious.

  You nailed it. I did these things years ago. Pre- requisites are a must. Most books leave out a bunch. Everyone is good at stem. They just don&apos;t know it yet. Anxiety holds them back instead of the enjoyment mindset. It&apos;s incredible to see science through a mathematical lense. Keep pushing girlfriend!

  Useful, thanks. &nbsp;I&apos;m a retired aero engineer, trying to tutor maths to high school students who are struggling. &nbsp;I realise that I&apos;ve forgotten most of my maths and equally need to know how it&apos;s taught nowadays.

  I used to perform mathematics terribly and thought that I had no flair for this subject. My maths teacher at that time also humiliated me in front of classmates. But now, everything has changed; I met my academic mentor and began to learn maths enthusiastically.
