80 feet is just over 24 meters. It's a pretty big fall. Kind of like falling off an 8 story building, but into the water

I love potato salad but putting raisins in it should be a war crime for psychological torture

I was an EMT in New Jersey, let me tell you, you see stuff like this weekly and it takes a toll on you mentally.

So a fun fact for sloppy feet to meter and vice versa conversion: a meter is roughly 3 feet, this (should be) easy for US folks to remember because of Yardsticks, a Yard measurement is 3 feet, and a Yardstick is also a Meter stick, those big rulers you'd occasionally see in school. its not EXACT but for quick/sloppy estimation/visualization it is close enough

2:55 - 3:45 The "cuff" in question is the inflatable bulb at the end of a catheter that keeps it anchored in the bladder. So when the patient tried to yank it out, it split things on the way out, so his "hot dog" looked like an over-microwaved hot dog (to quote the guy on his "Where Are They Now" segment).

The frustrating thing with the neck pain thing - if you've been in an accident, even a relatively mild one, the actual consequences can take weeks or months to show up.

So you get jerks like that guy faking it, and then someone who's actually hurt who didn't say anything at that moment because they felt fine - the former probably got paid and the latter is going to have to go to court and struggle to get any help because everyone assumes person 2 is person 1.

The fact that it tried to move on to the Internet Historian's "Cost of Concordia" video at the end there was hilarious.
