It’s crazy to think back in 2016 I bought a brand new Ram 1500 Lonestar with options for 40k and exactly 2 years ago my dad bought a 22 Laramie southwest edition for 57k. Y’all say things are getting for expensive, but holy crap dude.

Recently drove from Wisconsin to Ohio (8 hours a direction) and over the trip averaged 21.88. 2020 Ram 1500 Crew, 3.21 axl, short box 4x4 V8 E-torque. Was carrying 500 lbs of equipment and typically drove speed limit +5 mph and spent 20 mins idling around Chicago in traffic 1 direction.

I remember when a 6 foot bed was a short bed and 8 feet was a long bed. Does anyone even make a truck anymore with a bed that will hold a 4x8 sheet of plywood? A work truck should hold 4x8 sheet goods.

My 2017 Ram Hemi 4wd with a 3.92 got literally the same gas mileage. <br>I still like Ram, but that price is insane.
