It is good that it was never destroyed, but just locked away. Imagine a group like Hamas or Al-Qaeda. They would have destroyed every piece they did not agree with.

I don't know... I guess this may have been a little portion of those Greek societies, like an institution, a club, a school. There were plenty of jobs to be done in the real world regarding agriculture, farming, phishing, pottery, blacksmithery, construction and so on. Teen-agers elsewhere must have been learning the family business.
