  Planted avocado from seed maybe 7 years ago.<br>This year September is the first time flowers appear but some flowers drop without blooming.<br>Leaves also have spots.<br>I live in Kenya.<br>🇰🇪

  Yep, I put my avocado tree in one of those large pots that have the built on saucer on the bottom that is supposed to hold a little water and drain the excess. I read that they like to be planted in sand and rocks so I used decomposed granite, sand, peat moss, and pine bark and the weight of all that pushed the pot down onto the built in saucer and it created a seal that wasn’t allowing water to drain out and I didn’t notice until it was too late. My tree died of root rot eventually and so I went and bought a new one a few weeks later after I had drilled some large drainage holes in the side and that one died also because the substrate still had the disease from the root rot in it which avocado trees are very sensitive about. I also have a Lila avocado tree in the same setup which is thriving because luckily it didn’t flood like my other one did and I ended up drilling holes in that pot as well as soon as I noticed the other one dying.

  My 3 year old trees suffered from &nbsp;root rot ,they had no leaves to spray phosphorous acid on ,I pulled them out of the pot hosed off all the soil &nbsp;,then applied phosphorus acid on the roots .<br>Replanted them in decomposed granite ,after 6 months new leaves appeared &nbsp;,then planted in the ground &nbsp;,now healthy and producing fruits .

  A and B varieties are a base. My 4 years avocado tree is doing good and its flowers now are very showy. Also the tree growth is slower than most though I add chicken manure every year,spring as now. The avocado tree is very active too even though a bit dwarf as I budded it on a seedling. ... Greetings from Lebanese mountains,Beit Chabab. &nbsp;I&apos;m propagating this by cuttings. All buds burst.

  My tree was great then got yellow little spots on it then the fruit fell off and after that the leaves dropped

  When i deep-watered our avocado twice a week last fruiting season, less fruit droppings occur.

  Bees are everywhere and my navel orange is in full flowers now. &nbsp;So bees rotate and even sit on weeds, rosemary bush and even lilies.

  With our mature in ground avocado trees the only constant is variability. Last season &nbsp;we had the biggest crop ever. We ran out of people to give them to. This year trees that had hundreds of fruit had one or two. Some had none. Same trees, same automatic watering schedule, same fertilizer timing and amount of fertilizer. Our explanation? The avocado gods must have been angry this season and we don’t know what we did to piss them off.
