In Indonesia we call it "rebung", in my village bamboo shoots are cut thinly and then dried in the sun until dry, when they are dry they are usually cooked spicy with coconut milk and fresh smoked fish, they taste chewy and delicious❤

In Indonesia, this is called rebung. It can be cooked in many ways, as a filling for spring rolls, stir-fried, and more. In South Borneo, we usually cook rebung with coconut milk, sometimes adding vegetables like pumpkin or long beans, and enjoy it with fried fish and sambal. Love from Indonesia!
