I wish there was a way to have this mod on in multiplayer, but only applied to one player so everyone else has to deal with one dude absolutely losing it

As someone who has dissociative amnesia, too much of that was way too accurate lol! I don't have any hallucinations, but the misplacing things only for them to randomly appear somewhere you swear you checked already, the forgetting how you got somewhere, thinking you have one thing when in reality you have something else, and thinking you forgot something when in reality it's been on you the enitre time is so accurate! It does get annoying but it's not terribly frequent nor debilitating for me. But it was funny to see someone who doesn't quite go through that flip out lmao!

Also, yeah, people are so annoying with getting offended over nothing... Like, unless something affects you directly, you don't have a say on what's offensive and what isn't!🙄

1:30 this is commonly called offense by proxy, many people that think themselves the guardians of society will be offended FOR people, and it's worryingly common

My grandmother does have Dementia ... She herself doesnt suffer that much from it, more so the people around her, we, her family. Its very difficult, specially for my grandpa. He is married to her since over 55 years and sees her and her memory of them crumbling away each and every day. She doesnt even remember her children anymore. Its bad

Hello, nursing home worker here again! This episode was not only very well made, but genuinely chilling since it reflects something real. Dwellers and monsters dont exsist in real life, but dementia does, and while this mod might not be perfectly accurate to dementia, it gives a terrifying glimpse into a very real terror!

This really reminded me of some of my residents at work that experience hallucinations. I had one that was screaming like they were being kurdered because they thought someone was dragging them by their foot and going to kill them, while another though he was talking to someone who used to beat them with a stick. These hallucinations they have might be because of Lewy Bodies Dementia (or DLB), which is a abnormal buildup of proteins in the brain that causes all sorts of hallucination.

The saddest part of these things is that, while we know its not real, the resident doesn't. That is their reality, and telling them that their reality isnt real could cause them even more distress. So, you have to either calm them down and make them feel as safe as possible, or let it happen and make sure they dont hurt themselves.

(Btw, I think its important to mention that I am NOT a healthcare professional. I work as a dietary aid at a nursing home, and while i don't handle their medication and whatnot, i still see these things with my residents and have gone through training on how to handle dementia :D)

I work in a care facility with elderly people with dementia you would not belive the things the poor people say to us that they saw and all we can do is say it is fine they are gone now or something along the lines of that.

I have paranoia and this is super accurate in terms of seeing and hearing things that aren't there, I also found your reactions hilarious lmao
