Now that we know that sweet potatoes are not yams, good luck next Thanksgiving getting Grandma to stop calling them that. 🙄

Being a Southerner, a Confederate parents from Mississippi, born in Georgia, I grew up eating sweet potatoes, the orange kind.\nStrong as a bear

Sweet potatoes aren’t actually potatoes! They come from a completely different plant family. So basically, the sweet potato has been using the potato’s name without being a potato this whole time. 😂

Living in Tamil Nadu, S.India. Never ever gave a second glance at the sweet potatoes in the veg. market. But after seeing this video, my respect for sweet potatoes has increased. But the orange variety.........I don't think it is available.

I believe the sweet potatoes and the other potatoes were all created on the third day of creation week. People could save themselves so much stress if they would just believe the Bible. In the first chapter of Genesis, it tells which day each category was created.
I usually have to endure the first millions of years part in stories like this and then finally I can draw a sigh of relief when it gets down to thousands and I know that they’re gonna be a lot more accurate.
Someday every soul will believe in a Creator God. It just depends on when you want to start.
I hope someone does a series of these types of stories from a biblical viewpoint. I think you would get a lot of views and likes.

Potatoes and sweet potatoes are fascinating foods, but stories like this can go even deeper by exploring the religious and historical perspectives behind them. The Bible has its own important stories and teachings, but Muslims believe that the Quran is Allah’s final and eternally preserved revelation. Allah Himself has promised to protect it, so no one can change or alter it until the Day of Judgment. In my opinion, stories about the Quran and its historical lessons could also make a very interesting series and attract a lot of viewers.
