  My takes from the interview -<br><br>Yes Ahaan is a good actor and worked well and deserved the recognition for his work <br><br>But All star kids come with lots of privilege and security to take time and wait for the right opportunity.<br><br>In the first 10 mins of the interview <br>she said he showed up late on his first day of job, also lied about where he was when he showed up late, had to leave early due to family lunch one time …<br><br>He can get away with this and deemed charming &nbsp;. Any normal person with no connections and have family financial responsibilities cannot afford any errors.

  I really enjoyed this interview. &nbsp;But my main takeaway was the sheer level of privilege that nepo kids have in this industry. Not to discredit Ahaan Panday’s talent, this isn’t a takedown, but despite being what people might call a “tier 2” nepo kid, his journey still screams of massive privilege.<br><br>It’s not just that he got a big break. It’s everything that came before the break. The fact that he could arrive late. The fact that he could casually ask to leave for a family lunch on his very first day. That kind of space to falter isn’t something most newcomers ever get.<br><br>And the most telling detail: Shanoo could just call his mom. Aditya Chopra personally called Ahaan’s parents to reassure them that YRF believed in him and would look after him, even if he was getting other offers. That kind of direct access, that level of emotional and professional backing, is unimaginable for someone without industry ties. Most strugglers are trying to get a casting assistant to even glance at their portfolio. Ahaan had the most powerful producer in the country personally reassuring his family.<br><br>Aneet had to go through a process. She was replaceable. But for the male lead, it was always Ahaan. No competition.<br><br>That’s what nepotism really looks like. It’s not just about “getting in”, it’s about never truly being out. It’s about being allowed to make mistakes, take your time, say no to work, and still be considered a priority. There’s this quote: “You didn’t make good choices; you had good choices”. That’s exactly what this is. Ahaan didn’t reject other films because of some deep artistic conviction. He could afford to wait for YRF because he wasn’t worrying about rent, or ageing out, or missing his one shot. Of course, he chose YRF, who wouldn’t?<br><br>OUTSIDERS don’t have the time, or the luxury, to sit under a production house and be trained and nurtured for nearly a decade. because they have bills to pay. They have lives to sustain. They don’t have parents with industry influence or a financial cushion to fall back on.<br><br>Look at actors like Vineet Kumar Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri. These are people who’ve shared real stories of standing in long audition lines, doing five auditions in a day, and being rejected from deodorant ads for how they looked. They’re reminders that the playing field is never equal. Vicky made it in his 30s. Vineet is still struggling. Had it not been for Animal, Triptii&apos;s talent would have been easily sidelined.<br><br>Ahaan may very well be talented. But being called a “kid” at 27, and having every safety net in place, that’s not just luck. That’s structured privilege.<br><br>So yes, he made it. But the rest? The freedom to wait, the time, the choice, the access, the connections, that’s not something everyone gets. And that’s the point.

  went inside the theatre as a 25 year old, came out of the cinema hall as a 13 y/o who used to listen to Chaahun Main Yaa Naa on loop.

  Ahan, Ahan, my boy ❤️🔥 I mean, what a debut! You’ve done such amazing acting in your very first movie, such a talented star. So handsome, so hot, and at the same time, so incredibly gifted 🎬 I’m honestly so impressed by you, what a phenomenal actor. We haven’t seen such an incredible guy in the industry for such a long time, and I’m beyond happy we finally got this fresh face after so long. Thank you Shanoo Sharma for introducing him to us 🙏 And in his case, “sabar ka phal meetha hota hai” has truly come to life, now he’s a 500 crore movie star. I’m so, so happy and proud of you Ahan. Just keep doing great and keep giving us movies like this one after another. We’re with you forever, rooting for you always ❤️

  You know what’s really, really sad? Vishal Jethwa delivered a stellar performance in Mardaani 2, something raw, gritty, outrageous, almost inhumane, and painfully real. <br><br>Yet his presence was never hyped or pushed forward the way Ahan Panday’s was, despite both being launched by the same banner. Ahan Panday was presented as a hero, with all the usual bona fide hero material neatly packaged and pushed into Bollywood. That’s what’s sad.<br><br>No matter how talented you are, if you’re outside the circle, privilege still speaks louder.<br><br>Entire Bollywood praised Ahan Panday for a decent performance, and he apparently had a plethora of movies lined up, most with YRF. Yes, his film did really well, and more often than not, box office notoriety matters more than actual talent, but one cannot help but question the trajectory Vishal&apos;s career would have taken if he had received that same level of hype for a genuinely stellar, knockout, alternate performance. Imagine: a combination of actual, unadulterated talent + PR push/Industry backing.<br><br>That’s the sad reality of the matter.
