Playing this album for my mom ... She said she wanted to hear that old gospel don't play none of that new black music 😂she is getting a touch of dementia and sometimes I just have to smile God is so good. Leaning on the Lord to help me strengthen me as I take care of her and my 10 month old. This life is a trip. God is good all the time. 😊

In my opinion, this is where the crowning reign of "The Queen Of Soul" begins.

Met Aretha Franklin in 1968 when she did 4 shows in London. I was Roade for the band that opened the shows. Beautiful lovely lady. I got this album

This is the MOST POWERFUL ALBUM that the queen has ever recorded-im 47 years old and it has absolutely moved me to tears. GOD REST YOUR BEAUTIFUL SOUL QUEEN. I've always lived your music but never cared much for gospel but that changed today.

Areatha was the kind of person who could make an atheist praise the lord. She loved everybody. Her heart was opened to all. ❤❤❤

Aretha was truly a gift from God. She is 1:26:25 one of a kind and no one can come close to her anointing. This album lifted my spirit I needed to hear it today. This album is 50 years old and still delivers today. I stumbled across this album God knows just what we need. Thank you, Jesus.
