So fun fact: After the movie was finished, Jeff Daniels was at a golf tournament, and ran into Clint Eastwood. Clint said "Hey I saw that movie 'Dumb & Dumber'", and Jeff said "Oh I'm sorry". Clint said "No it that toilet scene was funny. That happened to me when I was picking up a date".

That kiss from Lloyd’s dream sequence actually won for Best Kiss that year at the MTV Movie awards. 😄

It always makes me laugh to think that if Lloyd ended up with Mary she would've been Mary Christmas

The bus scene at the end is how I determined Lloyd is dumber. 🤣

The 'extra gloves' scene culminating in "Harry, your hands are freezing!!!" is such a great punchline.

The sitcom applause when your daughter enters the room is brilliant. 😂

"Excuse me Flo?" is a reference to a great TV series: Alice. Her signature catch line was "Kiss my grits!"

<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tjZjTebFbNs&t=883">14:43</a> "My soda's flat, it doesn't have any bubbles" iconically stupid 😂

My cousins and I showed this movie to our grandmother right after it came out on VHS and when it got to the toilet scene, my grandmother was beet red with tears flowing down her cheeks from laughing so hard lol.

So there's a brewery in Texas that made a beer called "Our pets heads are falling off" in honor of this movie

Fun fact: the tuxedo scene, Jim Carrey had no idea Jeff Daniels was going to hit him in the back of the legs but the director and the producers just said go with it, and Jim Carrey agreed it was more hilarious! LOL
