17 years and it wasn't that hard to prove him innocent. He should sue the hell out of them.

One wrong turn of your truck costs you 17 years of your life. It's just like he said, "Life isn't fair, it's how you deal with it that counts".

I can't imagine what Greg and his family and loved ones have been through! There is just no way to make up for an error of this magnitude! You can't give someone back 17 years of their life. I am relieved he is finally free, but devastated for him for all the time lost. May all of his wishes from this day forward come true!

The truth shall set you free! The state should monetarily reimburse him for the years he spent in prison as an innocent man! Those are years and memories that he will never get back. Thank God the truth came out and I wish this man nothing but the best of luck! God bless you

Our "justice" system needs an overhaul.
I wonder how many innocent people are in jail serving sentences they don't deserve?

So, just an update, because this documentary really doesn't tell you whether he was ever released. Well, he was released from prison. They settled for $750,000, but when you learn the details that's not nearly enough. This man was convicted on that blood evidence, where they said that was blood on the wheel well of his truck. It turns out, it wasn't blood, but the FBI withheld those negative results from the defense.

This caused a major audit to take place of the FBI crime lab and it was found that well over 250 other cases were also done the same way, 3 of them were death penalty cases and the person was executed. It was found that over 250 cases the blood evidence was hidden, the final, negative results. Due to that audit numerous people were released from prison and death row. Just absolutely unbelievable. That is really scary to know you can be completely innocent and a power as big as the FBI crime lab can alter or hide evidence that would free you and you end up on death row. This guy Gregory is an IT specialist now and has multiple grandchildren. I'm really proud of this guy.

Thank God the death penalty wasn't used. The victim has been without justice for far too long. Prayers for her family❤

While I'm glad justice was done for Greg, I'm saddened that this woman's murder has yet to be solved. May she get justice and her family have peace.

lived in small town usa for 12 yrs and there was a "good ol' boys" pecking order in place then and i have no doubt if i went back today, it would STILL be in place. different faces maybe, but in place all the same. you made it greg!!! with your heart, soul, spirit, character intact. tattered and bruised no doubt, but intact as it all STILL comes thru in hearing you speak. soooooo many blessings to you, your loved ones, your family
