  28 years of his life lost! All the people that wrongfully put this man in prison for almost 30 years should be held accountable and he should receive compensation.

  Charles Sebesta is disgusting.  So happy to learn that he was eventually disbarred.  And I was also happy to learn that 19-0 Kelly Siegler was NOT willing to look past shoddy, missing or fabricated evidence just to run her record to 20-0 in death penalty cases.  In fact, I was delighted that she condemned Sebesta's actions.

  I cannot imagine being incarcerated knowing I am innocent and no one will listen. How frustrating , devastating and depressing that must be. The state took 28 years of his life his ability to make a living and then finally he is free and has nothing. Missouri’s law needs to be changed. Mr. Jackson deserves compensation. It won’t give back what he has lost but would definitely help his future.

  To see certain police officers, lawyers and prosecutors refusing to apologise for falsely sending people to jail, even insisting they did absolutely nothing wrong, is beyond disgusting.  If Hell is real then that's where they truly belong.

  It’s beyond shameful this man can’t be compensated for outrageously , and wrongly loosing 20+ years of his life at the hands of corrupt police officers , and a broken justice system.

  Heartbreaking for real. Too many innocent people are behind bars due to shady practices by detectives. Something needs to change, our justice system is broken. 😢

  Wrongly jailed people should be compensated a huge amount of money to help them live a truly happy life after all those struggles.

  He isn’t entitled to compensation after almost 3 decades behind bars for a crime he clearly didn’t commit? 😢 This is painful to even acknowledge... horrible. I pray the law is amended and applies retroactively ...

  How do you steal 28 years of a man's life and freedom and not compensate him for that?! No amount of  money can make up for what he's lost but here is coming out of prison with nothing. That's appalling! 😡
