The Ampero II now natively loads NAM A2 captures without losing sound quality; I think this brand is truly committed to its product.

Thanks Devan, I imagine this video took several hours! I think NAM sounded the best to my ears but we’re splitting hairs at this point. Would love for ToneX to update their software to make the auto-aligning phase an option, not a requirement.

Anagram (NAM) sounded wonderful, but for the cost-benefit ratio i still prefer my Tonex haha🔥

This is awesome, thanks for putting this together! It's really cool that the competition has closed the gap so much in this space. The player can now feel more freedom to choose the amp sim platform based on feature set and not be as concerned about sound quality differences. I'm still a Tonex guy for the time being because I don't really have need for anything besides amp simulation, and I can land it in a smaller footprint on my board. But really encouraging to know that if I were to pivot to QC or NAM in the future I'd still be in good hands!

PS - Your AC30 + J20 Tonex pairing is still unreal dude, haven't been able to beat it and I've tried A LOT lol

The Nam had a wider stereo sound more crisp. The QC and TONEX were identical more center forward sound little darker. All sound great and in a mix you wouldn’t be able to even tell which is which. Thx for the video!!

Your analysis and comparison of the captures between these pedals is interesting. I can say that, having owned all three systems, I completely agree with your analysis. Thank you so much for sharing this video, which I think is very informative for those seeking answers when purchasing the right digital gear.
