  I never understood the partner's getting paid for a divorce (as we both earn decently) until somebody explained it differently. For example, if a woman sacrifices her career to support you in yours, takes care of the kids and empowers you to be successful. Then you get a divorce, but she has lost those years NOT growing her own career and investing in you and the family. She could be left starting from an entry-level position at an older age, completely disadvantaged with nothing to show for supporting you.

  I LOVE Leila's videos lately. First and foremost she persued her own style (the pink, the font) and then also the more "produced" styled look. It's SO good. Also, can we talk about how gorgeous she looks?

  I love that the direction for most of these are not opinionated but rather than guidance about being able to be honest about what you want. Everyone wants different things what works for someone else may not work for you.

  First off i love Leila but I do wish videos like this also shared examples vs general guidance. Like if one person has a strong living preference and the other doesn’t what’s that example or the example she went through that made her walk away from the relationship. When the advice becomes high level it’s hard to truly extrapolate and see where/how your life lives with the situation or how to apply the example to your current situation. For example she was clear as to when Alex and her started to combine finances. Not sure how soon into their relationships that was but it’s clear in that scenario it made sense since they were making 50/50. So anyone in a similar situation can relate. <br><br>Either way thank you! 🙏🏼
