  Lock your rear differential. You need even power distribution between both rear tires, with no slip.

  I can't believe he only noticed the idea of a tank at the end. Caterpillar Treads are the best option for multi-terrain vehicles.

  Great video but i felt physical pain when he called Perseverance a lunar rover TWICE. The rover wheel solution was still genius.

  The tank tread would've worked well in the mud due to wide dispersement of surface contact.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVtrHDNOCRM&amp;t=195">3:15</a> the reason this works is because the tire traction is made for the moon (obviously) but another reason being is the wheels are hollow on the inside meaning there is no braking mechanics on the inside that can get clogged by the sand.
