RIP Sotha Sil, he would’ve loved Toyotathon and Home Depot’s 40% off Memorial Day sale

The Clockwork City was one of the only things that made ESO bearable, plus the lore that was added from it was something that I didn’t want to be retconned instantly. Sotha Sil is just a consistent W in The Elder Scrolls.

I feel like the BIGGEST wasted potential in morrowind was the offscreen death of sotha sil. Like alemexia, Vivek and dagoth all got really good character and writing behind them but sotha just got slimed with out us ever talking to him. The best think eso ever did was taking this corpse and turning it into an actual character. Sotha sil in eso is just so beautifuly sad. Unlike the others of the tribunal he viewed his power as a way to build a new world, a better world for his followers, he didn’t go stark mad crazy or intoxicated by it.

Weep not for Rigmor. She shed her mortality long ago, and I am certain death was no small relief to her.

Yah know, I once saw a neat analysis on the Tribunal. How they appear reflects their temperment and stance.

Almalexia: Clings to past glory, looks Chimer.

Vivec: Half and half. He honors the past and present.

Sotha Sil: Full Dunmer, looks to the future and atands in solidarity

He reminds me of doctor manhattan: brilliant, godlike, yet fatalistic due to awareness of his whole course of life

I love Sotha Sil, he's genuinely one of my favorite Lore characters in the entire Elder Scrolls series. I found this video just as I was rambling on to a friend about Elder Scrolls lore in general and he had to sit through the entire vid with me~
