Correction: I have yet to compare Maryland as well. How could I forget Maryland! So 4 states left compare. :)
So yeah, now that you know I'm doing repeats, what should I compare Maryland, Michigan, Iowa, and Oklahoma to?

Thanks to my generous Patreon supporters for sponsoring this video, as well as Truebill.
Download Truebill for free by going to: https://Truebill.com/MrBeat

The back and forth pronunciation of Missouri is clever but as a Missourian hurts my soul.

As a KCMO’er, I love the nature in southern Missouri and Northwest Arkansas. There’s a hiking challenge known as “The Triple O” and consists of hiking the 3 longest hiking trails in each state. There’s the 223 mile Ouachita Trail, the 164 mile Ozark Highlands Trail, and the 230 mile Ozark Trail. I hiked all 3 last year and had a blast! These 3 trails go through 3 National Forests as well, and are surprisingly wild! If you like being out in nature, these are great states! Just don’t hike during the summer, it ain’t pleasant. The Katy is a fun rail trail, I’ve done it a few times. Hope to get out on the Flint Hills Trail in Kansas next year and ride it. :)

I'm from northeast Arkansas and I can definitely attest to the huge amount of agriculture in the area

The most definite answer I’ve ever heard to the South/Midwest thing with Missouri is saying that above the Missouri River is the Midwest, and below is the South. It ain’t the most perfect but it fits the generalities pretty well and I know down where I live we’d die before being called a Midwestern Yankee.

As an Arkansan, I love this video. But, one thing that a lot of people don't realize about the Little Rock Nine is the effect all the mess had economically. At the time, Little Rock and Atlanta were roughly the same size in terms of population and economy. Because of all the racial tension, a lot of businesses left the central part of the state in favor of other states. Just a little bit of history that explains some of Arkansas' modern problems.
Regardless, I love my home state and all the amazing places and people that live here. Woo Pig Sooie

Could we see Edmonton and Calgary compared possibly? As someone who’s lived in Alberta their entire life, it would be great to see us get some recognition

As a fellow Kansas boy from Manhattan, I talk alot a crap about Missouri too! But I can't deny Kansas City is one of my favorite cities and enjoy going to the Ozarks of Missouri and Arkansas. Border war is still alive to this day. Arkansas on the other hand is my favorite state and have alot of fun there. I would move to the Ozarks around Jasper, or Witts Springs in a heartbeat!

Yeah I agree, although Missouri is considered both a Southern and Mid-western state

An interesting thing about Arkansas History that few know, even though Arkansas was made infamous because of its government action with the Little Rock Nine and the stand off with the Federal Government over desegregation, Arkansas was also the site of the first desegregation and integration of any school in the former Confederacy— and it occurred without any conflict and was upheld by the people of the area— It was Charleston, Arkansas, which isn’t too far from Fort Smith.

I grew up and live in St. Louis. I connect with city life a lot, and enjoy what St. Louis has to offer. When I want to get away, the rolling hills of southern Missouri are beautiful for camping.
