Simple question — does your current bike give you MORE freedom or LESS than the one you rode 20 years ago? Answer below.

I have a 2005 Hayabusa and an 2008 ZX14, no ABS, no launch control, no riding aids. Both have analogue clocks though the Kawasaki has a LCD screen. The only electronics are for the engine management of the ignition and fuel injection. Never felt the need for ABS even in panic situations as instictively one modulates brake pressure. Motorcycling requires commitment and full mental concentration.

I have 2 motorcycles a 2023 V-Strom 800 DE that has all the features. Then I hop on my 2026 DR 650 and can feel the fact that I am in control immediately.
