  Was thinking about a story where people&apos;s consciousness gets broken into a datastream and sent through a black hole into a pocket universe where it&apos;s rebuilt and people live out years before returning to their original universe where only a few hours passed.

  The first study didn’t make scientists say your conscious is a copy, it made them say it is an illusion due to how intelligent humans are. We believe we are more than we are when we simply have more neurons than other animals. It also proved souls etc all that bogus to be incorrect. It proved you are the sum of your parts.

  If consciousness is a “copy,” the uncomfortable question is: a copy of what? 😅 And why does this particular copy feel so completely convinced that it’s the original?
