People forget Larry Bird had probably the greatest 3 year stretch in NBA history. Nobody stopped Larry except his Mom’s driveway.

Larry Bird was magnificent !!! No holes in his game. As close to perfect as you can get. He played hard and rough. He was exciting. His trash talk is legendary. He called out his sh0ts like he was sh00ting a game of pool. Definition for clutch=Larry Bird. His passing was magical. He played in pain and with serious injuries. His will to win was unsurpassed. Larry Bird was spectacular !!! Larry Legend the GOAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was the first live game I ever saw Bird play. What a privilege. Almost like saying I saw Babe Ruth hit a home run.

Two things: 1. I want Walton to write my obituary and 2. I want a woman to love me as much as Walton loved Bird

Larry is the greatest shooter based on the variety of shots that he can make consistently

I saw all the games in 86. What a year. If I'm starting a team and I can pick anyone all-time to start my team with I'm taking Larry Bird. My favorite athlete. I love watching the youngs see his old highlights. He didn't just beat you, he took a part of your soul. I'll start my team with him, tyvm.

Does anyone love watching Bird more than Walton?

I saw Barkley in an interview where he said he did realize how big Larry Bird and Kevin McHale were until he got into the NBA. He would often get matched up with McHale and sometimes Bird and they so tall, quick, knew how to their spots. He said McHale was the best PF he ever faced because of, not just his height, but long arms and great foot work.
