You are a natural at this YouTube stuff! If you put out content more regularly like minimum 1 per week, you would grow big time. Congratulations on your progress thus far. I’m just a DIYer and love watching this stuff. Especially those apartment buildings you did a year ago, great stuff. If you do work in OC I really need a panel upgrade.

Your vids are awesome. <br>Gotta change your battery connections on the DPUX. Both battery inputs must be used on the inverter to get full power cant daisy chain with only 2 batteries. Use the long cable that came with the inverter to hook up the bottom battery

Very nice video. I would suggest that you should have put the outlet for the 240v level 2 charger off to the left and higher up on the wall. The cord that comes with the chargers (the cord you plug into the outlet, not the charging cable) tend to be short. This means the display for the charger is going be down low, thus tougher to read. Plus off to the side would give more room to hang the charging cable on the wall.

For those of you who are looking into this be sure to look up the round trip efficiency of the battery you are buying. There is energy loss in the conversion of grid power (AC) to battery power (DC) and then back to AC that cuts into the savings.

I live in San Diego as well and use an Anker Solix 1kwh generator that has a time of use feature where it will charge at super off-peak hours (12-6am) and run my air conditioning unit to cool my bedroom during peak hours. In the last month, my bill has reduced DRASTICALLY! It would be nice to be able to afford this unit to have all my appliances run off the generator.

that is some setup very well done!...i am in sf cal and built a system with two power stations, 2000 amp hour battery backup, 2100 watts worth of solar panels, invested about 4000$, in 6 month have got back about 750$
