When I was a young guy I roofed houses , and worked as a carpenters helper , I would have covered the bark roof with a heavy mill plastic sheet and then shoveled soil on top of the plastic sheet at least three inches deep , also I would have used 16 penny nails and wire to put that frame together , at least wooden pegs , that is the only things I would have done differently , but alas , I'm 71 years old and disabled my building days are probably over .
