  My God how I loved this documentary! I met him twice when I was living in Berwyn Pennsylvania. Once when my Opel Kadet L German car broke down and he stopped in his old International Harvester Jeep and jumped my battery and again before the opening of his exhibition at the Brandywine Museum when I was delivering cases of wine and champagne there. Craggy faced, twinkling eyes but a very penetrating gaze. No airs, no sense of any kind of ego, just quiet. I love his paintings, drawings and watercolors, the detail pulls you in. His sense of light adding an emotional depth was remarkable. Live in India now, for 22 years, but Chadds Ford and that area made made me remember it and him with tears. I am old now, but looking at this film made me feel less so. Thank you.

  1964, my high school art instructor showed me Andrew Wyeth’s paintings …..a few years later I was fortunate enough to see his exhibit in Boston.   To this day, he remains my favourite.  Wind from the Sea and Distant Thunder are 2 of my favourites.  This is a fantastic documentary outlining so many details I had not known.  Thank you!

  To me, one of the most brilliant and amazing aspects of Wyeth was that he sought out two families—the Kuerners in Pennsylvania and the Olsons in Maine—and somehow convinced them to let him become part of their lives. He then drew upon them, their homes, and their surroundings as inspiration for much of his life’s work. The scale, intimacy, and longevity of that artistic relationship are utterly astounding.

  I was in college in the early 90's and my art professors were dismissive of Andrew Wyeth. Such arrogance on their part. I always liked his work, it always seemed like a type of emotional surreality to me.  You could see he had a rich inner world.

  I first visited the Brandywine River Museum in 1988 when I was in 9th grade. I was immediately hooked. For my high school graduation my stepmom gave me the Three Generations of Wyeth Art book.  I still have it and look at it to this day. I often look to the entire Wyeth family of artists for inspiration in my own paintings.

  What an excellent documentary! I’ve been an artist all my life and spent 25 years as an artist at the Studios including Disney. All I wanted to do was paint and I’m very grateful that I have been able to make a living my entire life as an artist. I never get tired of painting. This documentary shows Wyeth’s genius. His compositions are impeccable, his lighting,  amazing. One of my favorite artists of all time. My favorite medium is watercolor and he was and is the master of it.

Breath taking, &nbsp;evocative and deeply felt, these words are not sufficient to describe his paintings. Words truly haven&apos;t been invented to describe the experience of seeing his paintings in person. Damn good documentary btw.*<br><br>*&quot;Beauty is where you find it&quot;. I&apos;ve forgotten whose quote it is but I remember the quote because of the truth it holds.

  As a youthful wanna be artist in the 50s and 60s, I was well aware of the abstract expressionists. I recall writing a paper in class answering the question is there a truly American art? I boldly stated yes, and it&apos;s found in the starkly simple paintings of Wyeth, Hooper, and others. During a visit to the Brandywine Museum, I was impressed by NC Wyeth&apos;s skill; sadly, there wasn&apos;t the powerful variety of Andrew&apos;s images I just viewed in this documentary. Just amazing. Words fail. Thank you.

  I have never heard of Andrew Wyeth, I’m in my mid 60s Australian. What an interesting life and an extraordinary artist. I loved this documentary of many people lives and stories.
