  Me: I&apos;m sure Dadi didn&apos;t really run Curse of Strahd all that bad. He must just have high standards for himself. I barely feel like I know what I&apos;m doing, but we&apos;re all still having fun in my CoS campaign. <br><br>Dadi: Yeah I didn&apos;t read the book. And made Strahd able to leave Barovia. And explicitly told my players to create murder hobos. <br><br>Me: I stand corrected.

  &quot;You&apos;re here to kill Strahd&quot; is the same issue we had with Rime of the Frostmaiden. &quot;We&apos;re here to kill Auril&quot;, followed by weeks and weeks of adventures where the goal is anything but &quot;Kill Auril&quot;

  this is actually incredibly helpful seeing people who have been doing this for so long have campaigns/sessions just not work, and being able to do level-headed post-mortem/self-critique. i tend to take that sort of stuff as my own personal character flaws, but it&apos;s helpful to see that&apos;s just normal human process.
