  So this is it!   Messi is light-years ahead of everyone else. He&apos;s one of the best goalscorer in history, a consistent team killing dribbler and a genius playmaker and he does it all with simple football. It looks so easy to the eye but try doing it. Then you&apos;ll know how insanely difficult it is. I can&apos;t even do it on PlayStation and I am not gonna injure myself trying it on a field with competitive guys who wouldn&apos;t think twice about my safety.<br><br>And he&apos;s one of the few players of the modern era that plays honest football. No dives, no dirty unsportsmanlike stuff and just genuinely a nice guy on and off the pitch. <br><br>He has never kissed his own ass or put down others. It&apos;s rare no matter what line of life it is to have someone of his stature to behave like him. <br><br>And when you have legends of game like Pirlo, Maldini, Raúl, R9, Dinho, Zlatan, Mourinho, Zidane, Beckham, Benzema, Lampard, Cafu, Gerrard, Graeme Souness, Rijkaard, Cech, Zambrotta, Gullit, Buffon, Cantona, Zanetti, Alan Shearer, Nesta, Cruyff, Modric, Marcelo, Ramos, Laudrup and many many others say he&apos;s the best, what else do you need? <br><br>He was a footballing sensation when he was 4 years old in Rosario. Born to be The God of Football and to me, he is that since 2012. For most, he became that in December 2022. <br><br>We will never ever see another player like him.   Ronaldo&apos;s fans don&apos;t think. They believe that Ronaldo &quot;is&quot; better than Messi by looking at flimsy number of goals or workout clips, &nbsp;and that Ronaldo &quot;carried&quot; Portugal to 2016 Euro while he wasn&apos;t even the POTT despite his team WINNING the whole damn thing. They use the same plot to troll Messi from 2016 to 2020, disregarding his achievements just because he had yet to win a senior trophy with Argentina at that time, but when Messi proved them wrong by winning 3 major trophies in less than 2 years (1 of them is even the World Cup) by defeating 3 DEFENDING champions, they&apos;re still in denial with bs like &quot;Copa America has been held 3 times in the last 5 years&quot;, &quot;Italy has weakened&quot; or the most stupid and ridiculous of all, &quot;the World Cup is rigged for Messi&quot; and &quot;it&apos;s easier to win with Argentina than with Portugal&quot;. <br>Honestly, at this point I just love to watch them suffer, to watch them writhe and bark their nonsense into oblivion, because deep down they know, they know that their idol is finished.   <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=snTXVPZTF74&amp;t=2240">37:20</a> don&apos;t forget the game against us(Atletico) in the 16/17 semis, where he scored a hattrick in the first leg, won MOTM and did his part, just like messi against Liverpool, but in the second leg when his team was 2-0 down, benzema and isco bailed him out whilst he dropped a disasterclass, meanwhile messi was creating chances for those bums suarez, alba and coutinho, and he was still let down.

  Messi is by far better player care to add that when taking account on the Golden shoe when Ronaldo wins it he accompanied with the ucls while Messi doesn&apos;t show that Messi mostly score a tone of goals if he asked to

  Honestly, the reason Messi-Ronaldo comparison exists is because of the stupid Ballon d&apos;Or which ignores 90% of the &nbsp;season i.e leagues and disproportionately places too much emphasis on the UCL and World Cup , which as we all know is luck based &nbsp;. If the Ballon d&apos;Or was a purely individual award Messi would have won every Ballon d&apos;Or award form 2009-19 and no Stupid debates would have existed instead what happened is that because the Ballon d&apos;Or places too much emphasis on UCL Ronaldo&apos;s 2 good games in UCL knockouts gave him 2 more Ballon d&apos;Or than he should have . The Ballon d&apos;Or in general needs to be re-structed so that league campaigns doesn&apos;t get ignored .
