Watts said he was "a sincere fraud" β a man who could describe the water more clearly than almost anyone alive, and couldn't always stop fighting the current. Which trap do you fall into more: Jung's trap of endlessly excavating yourself, believing that if you understand the pattern precisely enough it will finally release you β or Watts' trap of trying to relax your way to freedom, as if surrender were something you could do on purpose? Drop it in the comments. I'm asking because the answer tends to reveal something specific about the way each person avoids the present.
If you like the video please support us and thank you for watching

Wisdom tells me I am nothing, love tells me I am everything and my life flows between the two.

I discovered Allen Watts by chance from a band. The Movement. After digesting a lot of his lectures. Then I was introduced to Carl Jung. I have been always enjoyed deep conversations. I recently entered my darkness. Like a person in consolatory confinement. Phycally and mentally. I have recently given up whole hearted. A new peace is some what disturbing. Something my ADHD brain thought I could never have attained. People think I've had a split in my personality.
How do they know me? I'm on my journey to finally discover to see within myself whom I should be not the expectation applied to my Self. Thanks everyone who felt strong enough to post personal stories. Doors which were closed before are starting to open. Have a great life!

As Bruce Lee had mentioned "empty your mind be formless, shapeless, like water, now you put water into a cup it becomes the cup, you put water into a bottle it becomes the bottle, you put in a teapot it becomes the teapot, now water can flow or it can crash, be water my friend."

This is exactly and precisely what I needed to hear today because today, after years of following the great Carl Jung and being a therapist myself, this year was the year of the great collapse for me, at age 74, and the year the TAO has finally begun who makes sense to me. It sinks up somehow with
Gnosticism, with the concept of the Monad, letting go of the walls of the ego and the story we lived as a human to melt into the whole. we came from the Whole, we will return there and the more I, the human I, the egoic self letβs go, the more I experience it. And I am grateful to Watts to talk about being a genuine fraud because I feel at this consistently every single day. Thank you for this video. Something is happening inside of me as I heard this and as Iβm writing this that I wish to go meditate on now. Bless you.

I could listen to the voice of Watts all day long. He is very relatable and explains himself well.
