as someone who also grew up in the 00s, its so bizarre how we didn't understand what a style or aesthetic was and this is just what the world looked like

It's funny how there's now a counter culture to flat design trying to bring back the fun and quirkyness of old software and it's becoming more prevalent each day. I hope this wave gets bigger and bigger so we could finally relive the sense of novelty that frutiger aero once had

As an 18-year-old (born in 2004), I found this Internet aesthetic in June 2023. When I found it, I felt like I had found another old-fashioned house.

You know, when I think of Frutiger Aero, the first thing that comes to my mind is young me, spending countless of hours on my Windows 7 back in the 2000s :)<br>Good ol&apos; times.

This has to be like one of the best aesthetics known i’m not even joking. When i say frutiger aero is truly on another level. It’s just beautiful all around. Really glad to see a more in depth video about this. It’s become one of my favorites.

I always had a nostalgia feel when looking at these backgrounds and places with this aesthetic and always wondering why I felt that way towards them and if anyone really remember this aesthetic. When I first found out it was called Frutiger areo I knew I wasn&apos;t crazy and that it was the theme of the mid 2000s to early 2010s lol. I was so happy to find the name of it now I just wish we would bring it back instead of this flat deisgn era.

I would say 92-98 was the Groove/Grunge aesthetic era then 99-02 was the Y2K aesthetic era, then 03-12 in response by big corporations to settle the consumer minds on the fast coming new technology, Frutiger Aero was designed, from 13-20 was the aesthetic of “Flat Design” 2D basic style animation, then that brings us onto the current, the AI aesthetic which we are still at the beginning of

It&apos;s really fascinating to see that I&apos;m not the only one who&apos;s nostalgic over this aesthetic. I truly hope Frutiger Aero makes a comeback in some way.

The Spiral Knights game/website is probably one of the sites that I know of that still retain this aesthetic. What&apos;s even more surprising is that the game still gets supported after 15 YEARS!
