Some of these were simply to experience for the everyday user. As for the Seimems accessories, I doubt the name helped their sells any. At least in the US, (and I believe England) there are two homophones for it. Seamen: Navy enlistees, and Semen, a male bodily fluid.

The sidekick and blackberry didn't fail it just became outdated. They were huge successes

I remember blackberry being called crackberry because people were glued to them, like now

The 2000s really thought everything needed to be “revolutionary.” Most of it just ended up in the junk drawer.

It also didn’t help Segway when its CEO died when he accidentally rode his Segway off of 30 foot cliff! I remember that that was a tragic accident but it was one of the most made of CEO death ever

I'm a huge Nintendo fan at heart but I think Dreamcast was one of the best home consoles ever made. It was my first Sega console.

Blackberry failed because it was forced out of the market by the powers that be. They refused to share people’s data with multiple governments and would not open up their system.  Investors left and blackberry was gone.

Webvan seems like an idea that might have been a decent idea to test limited areas to gage demand instead of abruptly opening many locations to what could be no customer base.

The Sidekick would still be going if they didn't stop making them. The last version even had an android operating system if I recall. Sidekick needs to comeback like the Moto Razr did.

I need the sidekick to make a comeback yesterday.<br>That phone was so fkn cool and in this day and age with touchscreen capabilities, I think they could make it so much better with the keyboard and mouse.
