Sometimes I think all plants can look expensive if they're big and healthy

I work in a US grocery store, Kroger. Six of the plants that you mentioned arrived at our store. I bought several on clearance for $4 or $5.

Dieffenbachia reflector is such an underrated plant and they're so cheap.

The homolomena also needs a self water pot. Treat them like a peace lily. Mine didn’t like drying out at all and it was very sad. 😂

Surprisingly, the pronunciation of "billietiae" is another case of us English-speakers making a word more complicated than it actually is! The plant was named for a French woman with the last name of Billiet, pronounced like bee-ae ("B-A" or "B.A."). Meaning the Latin name billietiae is basically pronounced "bee-ae", too. 😆

16:59 majesty does, "bleed" when cut. I've propped mine with cuttings a few times and it's a deep red with slight purple tint.

The Philodendron Florida Ghost is probably my favorite plant of all in my collection, too - totally worth the effort of a moss pole. Yes, please do a video of similar plants to this and other minty plants! 🙏🏽 Love your videos and all the info and work you put into them! ❤

I've got a Silver Dragon and a Bisma that I found sport-variegated amongst batches of "regular" ones at my favorite local nursery! SD looks like it might be reverting, but the Bisma is really showing off. Both the standard and variegated forms are so cool, and mine are thriving perfectly just in my regular ambient conditions (central controlled 40% humidity, plants grouped together). And less than $40USD total for both combined

Costco had a Thai and a snowdrift together for $20 this last year (decent size, Thai starting to get fenestrations) and I’d been wanting both for years 🎉 patience really paid off!
