  I've been growing hundreds of plants at any given time for 45+ years (currently over 1500 Cacti, Euphorbias and other Succulents) . I would recommend to ALWAYS check your new plant roots immediately.  You don't have to repot the same day if they are healthy, but by checking  the roots you'll know if it's sickly.

  I ❤ your comment that if you want to bring plants in your home, you have to be okay with bugs/insects. I spent so much time overcoming a massive fear of spiders, and now have a few resident arachnids who are AMAZING at keeping the fungus gnat level LOW! I've come to appreciate the little things, and we have an agreement: You keep to your area and eat what you like, and I'll do the same. 😂🕷🕸

  Recently ordered a couple variegated ficus. They arrived so pretty then immediately dropped 75% of their leaves 😂 I have new growth coming in on both now. It’s a slow process!

  This was a really good video, esp for beginners for sure. Was on another content creators site &amp; a person was super upset because they had put their 4 Hoya in a bathroom with No windows and they were starting to not make it. Everyone was basically screaming in texts at them to get them near indirect light or grow lights immediately and slowly introduce lots of light over days. I don&apos;t understand how anyone could think any plant could be kept in a dark bathroom all day &amp; night and live? Everyone was like 🤯😬😫 I kindly gave her ideas but it was so frustrating.They were really expensive Hoyas too.<br> I want to try beneficials myself. Definitely at one point I had flat mites which are so distructive but I&apos;d take flat mites over mealies any day. Very useful video.

  Always great to see your videos, Nick. &nbsp;I’ve been growing plants for over 45 years and you always have such sound advice.<br>I have to ask, what is that plant directly behind your right shoulder (left when looking at the screen)? &nbsp;I couldn’t take my eyes off it as you were speaking. &nbsp;It looks like a sansiveria of some kind that has been lifted out of its soil to expose the roots. &nbsp;It’s pretty cool looking!<br>Barb from Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦
