My mother's oldest brothers were in the coal mine wars. What was left out was the Kennedy and Rockefeller family owned large shares of the coal companies. They also controlled the state politics from U.S. Senators and the state governors on down, and still do. Nothing has changed. I left WV in 1958 for jobs and came back in 1969.

I myself former coal miners 1980-88 se bc 🇨🇦 is near same patterns include lumber in western canada.I educate myself rear lots books,talking coal miners from canada-usa near same talk.Yes,Washington.dc tried help send billions tax dollars but was futile and sad.The oilfield with fracking change everything same western canada 🇨🇦 coal mines.The market change in steel too,so demand.Thank you expose this work well done.Calgary,alberta.
