The timing of Dez’s’ hit was legit based on the upright slide that took way too long. <br><br>The shoulder drop was the obvious foul and absolutely justified under the current rules.<br><br>But the celebratory sideshow afterward is what gave everyone those OJ-type flashbacks. That’s what turned the ejection into a national embarrassment.

The things Max showed was interesting. Hoping Patterson sees that same stuff and figures how to fix or vastly improve it. Also hope he finds a way to get the pass rush hyped up!

One of the weaknesses is linebacker. We all know that. USC linebackers can’t play In this league. Stephen’s is one of the reasons. It’s not his fault. He might have the physical ability, but not much between the ears. His laughing and being congratulated for a hit like that is inexcusable. Start the freshman Talanoa Ili. Can’t be any worse…Fight On!

The celebration is the kicker but that aside the need to fix that rule if qbs want to be protected they should have to give themselves up earlier, that waiting till the last minute isn't fair. This is football qbs shouldn't be protected anymore than anyone else
