  I hope SC kicks both Stephens and Riley off the team. I don't want to see them anymore.

  As a graduate of USC, I was totally embarrassed for the university by Stephens' actions immediately after the hit and his continual actions on the sideline. That is NOT worthy of USC football and I have never seen such a thing occur in the decades I attended USC football. Given the new targeting rules he did get off easy and Riley's suspension is somewhat of a joke in that last year Stephens would have been ejected, removed from the field, and forced to sit out the first half of the next game. His suspension for one game is basically the old rule plus a half. His actions, in my opinion, warranted at least a 2-3 game suspension. The other part of this episode is that Stephens was not alone. Several of his teammates were dapping him and patting him on the back which encouraged his behavior. Finally, where were the coaches? I did not see Patterson come over and speak with him about the hit or his actions, nor did I see any other assistant coaches come over. Riley, claimed in the presser that he didn't see anything. Why didn't Riley speak with Stephens? He had plenty of time to counsel Desman during the injury timeout. This is not USC football,  but this is not just one player, from what I saw on the sidelines and the lack of concern from the coaching staff this seems to me to be a lack of Trojan culture that used to be pervasive throughout Trojan football history.

  I'm a long time USC fan and that's not USC football. John McKay, John Robinson, even Pete Carroll and that guy is gone. Riley is not USC material period.

  Penalties like this are direct result of poor coaching. He was not the only one celebrating and it was not the last helmet to helmet hit where iola was hit helmet to helmet in the backfield was never called. I think you guys should be talking about the coach on this one

  Causing serious injury was obviously intentional based off of his gleeful reaction to seeing Dante knocked out and having spasms.   The pathetic USC coaches were all totally fine with his prancing around afterwords and did nothing to stop him.  This is lincon riley culture exposed for what it is - fake tough guys

  Suspend each of the "high fivers" one game. Fine or terminate the coaching/staff members who congratulated him after the fact.
