  One experience from my youth in late 70s dramatically impacted my understanding of plants, countering "no nervous system" claim. At that time, if you are old enough to remember there was a claim of an experiment showing that plant reacts on your intention to harm it (typically thinking of burning its leaf). I was a kid but very good in electronics, so I built the device in question (very sensitive electronic galvanometer that could output not just reading on a gauge but a related sound too). I tested it on a 15ft cherry tree in front of our home. I'd attach electrodes on a leaf on one side of the tree and tested if there is any response to acting or thinking of harm on the other side. No effect from my thinking but, if I tore a leaf on one side the galvanometer would strongly react on the other! As there was a sound made from that signal too, you could actually hear the tree screech in response! This demonstration should be a mandatory part of elementary education, dramatic change in the perception of life in general.

  I had a dream last night that I was communicating with a plant. It was making sounds like I’ve never heard in real life but the best I can liken it to is how whales sound.  There was more to it but one of the things it was saying was “you don’t have to try to be more beautiful than everyone else.”  I realize his sounds like a basic message but there were many more layers to it. Anyway, as I was beginning to start my work day in my glass shop, I pulled up YouTube to try to find something interesting to listen to and this is what was on my feed. I didn’t search for anything but obviously this is what I’m supposed to listen to. I haven’t listened yet but I’m about to now! Thanking you in advance.

  I recently after a near decade long abstinence mayhave fallen in Love again without me initiating any part of the events…I have been planting and caring for trees for 50 years and planted a small wood on a Scottish hill and now again in Ireland…i feed birds too from feeders hanging in indigenous Birch trees….so everyday I meld into a tree to fill the feeders…after this new love left I was dreaming or in a liminal state and I spontaeneously saw the main birch was looking and in a sense smiling at me with several eyes where there would normally be leaves …it was almost alarming and slightly shocked me as it was its own thing not mine..but i realised it was showing happiness for me/us….Thanks for your lifetimes work Rupert
