I just wanted to thank everyone for their kind comments! I really enjoy making these videos with Hi-C, and TBH, I love seeing all the grower feedback in the comments! We've got a great mix of new and experienced growers, and there's lots more to learn together! Thanks for the positivity, and Growers Love to you all!

I can't stop thinking that when Scotty is advertising his product ,with all the edits to speed it up it reminds me of the old show max headroom .any other people remember max?

I have found that distance, rather than Par, is what causes burn. I personally take my light from 25% to 50% when they hit veg and then she is ramped up to the full 100% about 3 to 4 weeks into veg which is where it stays until the last few weeks of flower. 24" seems to offer the most efficient spread so I maintain that distance until I flip to 12/12 then I just let them grow up into the light, that way the amount of par going down on the canopy increases gradually as the ladies get taller.

Old theory is that hemp evolved and was cultivated specifically at higher altitudes, thc trichomes are created by the plant in greater quantities at higher altitudes, where the air is thinner, and the atmosphere doesn’t protect as much from UV radiation, trichomes that go amber absorb more sunlight. Kush mountains in Nepal, Atlas Mountains in Morocco, Afghanistan is mostly mountains,(all known for hash), and now Colorado, all high altitude. For a real test measure uv light at sea level and at 3000 and 5000 ft, add the difference to a tent and have a side by side comparison, all other factors being equal, also it might be worth reducing co2 at higher altitude simulation because co2 is a heavy gas that sinks. 3 side by sides… could make an interesting science experiment.

I like some of these other guys podcast also but you are close to my age I think anyway I'm 56 and the way you break things down if something I can completely understand everything that you have said is very good and scientific information and I am able to understand it coming out of your mouth I greatly appreciate your sacrifices on our account I know you have been raided or at least questioned by the DEA since this video and I appreciate you holding strong and following the rules and showing people why you should and what you can still do while you do follow the rules and that way you can keep on growing

Hi-c is right decreasing from 18 to 12 is a 33% or 1/3 decrease. You increase 50% because 600 is 33% less of 900. It's easy though<br> Veg ppfd ×18÷12= flower ppfd. If you aren't doing 18 or 12 just plug in the hours you will be using instead.
