  For any Bravia Theater Quad owner: even though Sony says you can put them wherever you want and their app will &quot;do magic,&quot; I&apos;ve discovered a few placement tricks to significantly improve sound quality:<br><br>Give them space to reflect: Since it relies on phantom speakers, every speaker needs room to bounce audio off the walls and ceiling. If you have acoustic treatment or tall furniture right next to them, it can dull the sound and reduce directionality.<br><br>Wall clearance: Each speaker needs extra breathing room along the side walls to project convincing phantom channels.<br><br>Layout shape: The system performs best in a square layout (with the rear speakers opened up slightly wider to the sides). In my limited space, giving them at least 12 inches of clearance on the left and right made a noticeable difference (front and back walls does not affect at all).<br><br>Recalibrate: Try running the calibration process a few times while slightly tweaking your phone&apos;s position each time until you get the best result.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sMmVAkWEHGo&amp;t=1145">19:05</a> the elac sub literally starts clipping the mic, that sub is insane! the hisense is a beast compared to the elac system, but its more of a baby lion vs a full grown tiger.

  I was in the kitchen with headphones listening to this, so I didn&apos;t see the screen and didn&apos;t know what system I was hearing. My main takeaway is that your ELAC 5.1.4 system is awesome, because after the third time thinking &quot;dude this sounds SOOOO much better than anything else&quot;, I got in front of the monitor and checked what system was so outstanding the whole time :D. Not the point of the video, I know, but still ... that thing sounds awesome!
