I really benefitted from this interview, Lantern Jack. Thanks so much for sharing this! The highlight for me was 27:06 "The 2 things that most people could tell you about Atlantis are (a) it sank beneath the sea and (b) the Atlanteans were some sort of advanced super race that had computers and UFOs and stuff. Those 2 things actually come from a guy named Ignatius Donnelly who was a weird US congressman in the 1880s who took a bunch of stuff out of Plato and added a bunch of other stuff to it. And he's the one who sort of popularized the Atlantis myth in the United States. Anyway, Plato doesn't mention anything about sinking beneath the waves. He doesn't mention anything about the Atlanteans being super technologically advanced. What he says is they were a maritime race who lived on an island and they went to war against the Athenians because their once sophisticated civilization became degraded over time."

If you haven't heard Randall Carlson on the Azores as the Mountain Tops of a Submerged Hunk of Land with the Science to Explain dating back to "79 (like me & the IRC)...

What is Plato doing? In The Republic, he shows how you can use the images of Heavenly things in the Cosmos to catapult up to Heaven. In Timaeus/Critias he shows how the things of Heaven descended down into the Cosmos and stamped their image on it.

Mauritania, the Richat Structure, the Eye of the Sahara.

9600 BC does eerily line up with Younger Dryas event estimates and Melt Water Pulse B, a dramatic increase in water levels.

It’s weird because if you actually read where Plato says it is, it seems extremely obvious that he’s talking about the azores. Not to mention the big underwater plateau that surrounds the islands and connects them together under the ocean. It’s right there where he describes it.
