  Scary looking dudes who fake out little kids into behaving like in story 20 are my favorite kind of person. 10/10 times, they&apos;re the sweetest guys who just happen to be outside of the &quot;acceptable&quot; aesthetic range and decide to use that to keep little kids safe.

  when they said that they “lost a child” I thought they died and omg I was so relieved to hear that they literally just lost sight of them (the church event story)

  any time child leashes are brought up i feel like i need to defend them, because i was a kid on a leash when i was little. my parents only ever used it for big events where it would be really easy for a kid to get lost forever - think festivals and the like - but honestly, i remember loving the little harness. it allowed me some freedom to move around and explore without getting lost, and i HATED getting lost, so for me it was a win-win. as long as the parents using the leash aren&apos;t yanking on it and literally treating their kids like dogs, i see 0 problem with putting your kid on a leash. kids are hard to deal with and you gotta use the tools that work for you.

  All this and yet the part that surprised me most was hearing someone describe an amusement park, especially Disney, as ‘relaxing.’ Not in the history of ever has an amusement park been relaxing.

  I put my son down on a blancket for tummy time. My 2 year old daughter rolled him up in the blanket like a burrito and sat &nbsp;on his head. That was 15 years ago. We laugh now, but good grief was I upset when it happened.

  Not Me, &nbsp;However, &nbsp;when my dad was a toddler, &nbsp;The family was out camping in the woods. &nbsp;The adults had formed a circle and were chatting with each other with my dad on the ground playing in the circle. &nbsp; <br><br>Then everyone realized my dad was missing no longer in the circle. &nbsp; <br><br>They found him playing with a bare cub.
