Love that you went with this old bike to show that you don't need a new bike to do all this on. The commentary about the fairing being held on with chewing gum had me cracking up. Would love to see more of this!

A man after my own heart, on a motorcycle every road leads to somewhere. That feeling of riding for an hour and suddenly saying to yourself "oh that's where that goes" or "oh I know where I am now" 😂 living in Finland as the road twists and turns through deep thick forests I won't say "get lost" but go on another adventure the moment you take a left or right off a main road, with road signs pointing to villages with names impossible to pronounce in English places and roads I never even thought to go down in a car on a motorcycle "I wonder where that goes" changes to "let's have a butchers down there". There's no such thing as a wrong turn, on a motorcycle it's just another mini adventure. 😂

Your cooling system is working how its intended. No harm in changing coolant. The thermostat is working at the right temperature.

Always have used a brief look at a map, and the internal compass, failing that pull up and ask, never failed me yet. Who needs a sat nav.
