The eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD survives almost entirely through the two letters written by Pliny the Younger and the rescue attempt led by Pliny the Elder. Their accounts shaped everything we know about the destruction of Pompeii and Herculaneum, the ash cloud over the Bay of Naples, and the final hours of the people who lived there.

I guess the real question is, which of the dual Plinies had the best strategy?

I need to say, it's completely unjust the lack of attention you've been receiving. YouTube is a tricky platform with its algorithm, and I can only count myself lucky to have made it to this channel after reading your Reddit posts a long time ago. I hope you'll keep at it with these videos, because they truly are treasures of wonderful content. Your style is a beautifully unique blend of fact and jocosity. The editing, sounds and visuals are incredible. I'll eagerly watch each upload with delight.
