  The part that always made me cry was when Barney was yelling at his dad saying if you were going to be some lame suburban dad why couldn’t have you been that for me <br>Kills me every time

  &quot;I want those extra 45 days&quot; was kind of foreshadowing the moms death.. it wasn&apos;t that they killed her off that ruined the ending it was how they just smashed it all into 2 hours and it felt so rushed

  The beauty in the &quot;Ted&apos;s speech&quot; scene isn&apos;t even the moment he is at the door of the Mother. It&apos;s the moment Ted realizes he&apos;s haunted by the fun and simple past that has left him and is replaced by the growth of characters. Lily and Marshall are raising a kid. Barney and Robin are planning their wedding. I think we all had or will have this moment Ted had in that bar. That moment we have to accept that things change and we have to grow with that change instead of holding onto what is familiar.
