I am a big tweed fan and have six Harris jackets along with Daks ,Gurteen and a few others but we have the weather for them here in the north of England.

We never see people wearing tweed jackets here in Western Australia even in winter. My husband had one but only ever wore it once. They look so typically British and it's a really nice look.

We don't see good tweed jackets here too often, but good tailoring isn't too hard to spot. I can't handle them or wear them, being allergic to wool. Have to wear gloves. I'll watch you wear yours.
