  Guy as a red lantern was my favorite version of his character. I think it’s where he shined the best

  Another reminder that the blue lantern don't have a big story like this, other than a portion of brightest day. It's always the clean it up button when the blue light appears. Makes me sad.

  The final arc here reminded me of Razer&apos;s transition at the end of GL:TAS. Rage is powerful, but ultimately finite. When rage burns out, hope finds a way to refresh and renew life. <br><br>These issues rarely get discussed by GL fans, so I enjoyed seeing them revisited. You did an excellent job as always, fellow ringslinger.

  It felt like a good evolution for Guy; he was more than just the sum of his rage, he took it and channeled it into something new and different when he took over the Red Lantern Corp and dealt with Rankorr, Bleez, and even Red Lantern Supergirl in a manner that was entirely apart from how Atrocitus and the prior Reds did. Despite being the end light of the &quot;negative&quot; end of the spectrum, Rage isn&apos;t just a purely destructive force, and the majority of Guy&apos;s run showed that. <br><br>I think making it focus entirely on the toxic aspect in the end and not reconciling it with everything he&apos;d done up until then did the premise and him a bit of a disservice, and making it a factor of purely Hope cleaning up everything in the end rather than a mix of all the other emotions to drive its own intended lesson home kind of undercut the significance. With that and everything they&apos;ve done since mucking with how the spectrum works, I hope like with Kyle possibly getting his White Lantern power sorted out that Guy can take a route that just doesn&apos;t just keep him yet another Green in the ranks.

  To me the 3 runs are one big great run as they explore the reds at different phases and when looked at as a whole this run is fascinating <br><br>I’m saying this as I’m rereading the run and find myself appreciating what Milligan did early on in the run unlike how I originally thought

  So that&apos;s how that arch ended. It makes sense things didn&apos;t just go back to normal and that there was fallout from the battle. But I never expected it to be that ingrained into the planet.
