I’m not kidding when I say Daphnes line of “I enjoy being a girl” has impacted my whole life.

This might seem minor but I love how accurate yet realistic the outfits are. They look like actual outfits! Alot of live actions clothing look like cheap bad cosplay.

"In the original cut, Shaggy was a stoner" I'm pretty sure he was still a stoner in the final cut.

IT DOES NOT TAKE ITSELF TOO SERIOUSLY. It’s silly and fun like a cartoon, it’s light, with silly jokes and silly scenes. The characters are over the top as they are in cartoons, but more well rounded as it happens in movies. It’s just a perfect middle point. And now it’s a nostalgia masterpiece with all the 2000s vibes it gives off. Still love to watch this movie.

I always liked they made Daphne the literal muscle of the group. Also a subtle note I never realized when the group split you can see them walking towards their own cars implying their infighting got so bad they wasn’t even traveling in the mystery machine together anymore. A lot of us assumed growing up they just had a big fight and split randomly.

Gosh, sometimes I forget that Scooby was CGI because Lillard's performance was so real. As you said, great chemistry with air, and that's insane to me.

This movie is strangely perfect in a way. Taking source material with an extremely simple concept it managed to modernize its characters while not taking anything away from them. It has its own personality which is something very few live action adaptations can say
