  What I love about Blaze as a character, and just this story in general, is that she slots in perfectly with the themes of the Sonic franchise. At its core, this series is built on thematic inversions. Nature vs Technology. Speed vs Strength. The Original vs the Copy. Experience vs Naivete. The Past vs the Future. Blaze here represents Isolation, while Sonic &amp; Co. represent Teamwork. Cream and Blaze work as well as they do because they are built on this same principle. It&apos;s this universal cohesion between almost every Sonic story that keeps me sane throughout this completely fucked continuity. Hell, even later, shitter stories like Sonic Forces follow this pretty well. Sonic&apos;s kindness and heroism inspires a nobody, the Avatar, to become a hero, while Shadow&apos;s violence and brutality turns a nobody, Infinite, into a villian.<br><br>Incidentally, this is also why I enjoy Silver and Blaze as a pair. I know you really hate 06&apos;s story and that the rant at the end was mostly a joke, but honestly shipping aside these two just have really great rapport. Silver is an extrovert who in in his later incarnations is portrayed as an adorkable cinnamon roll who just wants to be friends with everybody. Blaze is a stoic introvert who&apos;s quite experienced and no-nonsense. She works quite well as an almost mentor to Silver, and many extraneous stories flesh these two out in really compelling ways.<br><br>Great video as always, and I appreciated you giving us some more Pariah lore. Glad you were able to leave that shell.

  They really loved using Cream a lot in these side-games. I think they actually use her well too. I think I remember Cream and Omega teaming up in the comics once or something, which is kinda funny to me because they have serious conflicting personalities lol. I don&apos;t remember much about it though.

  I had a few friends ask me if it was ok to say Eggman &quot;Nega&quot;, and I seriously had to explain why that word and the word they were thinking of, was completely different. LMAO.

  One of my favorite parallels between Sonic and Blaze is that Blaze - despite being a FIREY CAT - never once complains about having to submerge in water. But when Cream offers to fly with her, Blaze has to admit that she&apos;s scared of heights. Sonic and Blaze both having different elements that they&apos;re generally uncomfortable in is just another cute and subtle way to have them Mirror each other.<br><br>And then it works even better when we get to Rush Adventure and see precisely why Blaze has no trouble with water. Since her world is a small series of islands, she&apos;s had to have dealt with water literally surrounding her for her entire life. If she ever had been afraid of it, she definitely would have gotten over it at some point.

  I was at my lowest a few years ago and I was pushing everyone away. I was alone and felt like I didn&apos;t need anyone and that no one was there for me at the same time. And Sonic got me out of there.<br><br>Sonic got me into playing games again and silly corny phrases and moments like &quot;I have no master, except the wind that blows free&quot;, &quot;You know me, never a dull moment&quot;, &quot;Nothing starts until you take action&quot;, or even sillier things like just Sonic screaming mid-gameplay &quot;FEELIN&apos; GOOD!&quot; in Unleashed. Not only that, but the songs! Endless Possibility, Reach for the Stars, etc. This overwhelming amount of positivity allowed me to start seeing the bright side of things, it motivated me to start running irl, and, slowly, all of the things that seemed so gloomy started feeling brighter.<br><br>I didn&apos;t even know anything about this game&apos;s story, but it really did hit me hard. Sonic is a truly special character and despite all the controvery there may be around him or the franchise in general some times, I will never not show my love and appreciation for him.<br><br>&quot;NEVER FEAR THE FALL!&quot; :)

  I think the mystery of how Eggman Nega transitioned from another dimension Eggman to a descendant still brings great chaos to the series.
