  Once my mother had her photos taken by a professional who edited her photos and erased her wrinkles. When they sent her the final results she said "What have you done to those precious lines I have spent 50 years collecting??" And I think that's beautiful

  We lose our "baby face" naturally as we age. We don't need to excellerate the process... trying to achieve a "snatched" face in your early 20's will obviously make you look older than you should.

  I recently lost a loved one in their early 20s and it has completely changed how I feel about aging. What a privilege it is to grow old. Aging is the result of getting to spend more time on earth with our family and friends.

  It’s sad, social media has destroyed individuality and has corrupted the minds of many that aging is a bad thing. Why are we so scared of aging!? And the ironyyyy of getting Botox to prevent it when it in fact ages you! It’s insane.

  I think the perception of Gen Z “aging poorly” is mostly fueled by social media, where more wealthy influencer types are represented disproportionately. The kinds of people who are not only pressured more into getting cosmetic injections/procedures, but can also afford it.<br><br>I’m in Generation Z, and I never noticed a trend of us looking older irl because I’m in a community of average zoomers who can hardly afford rent in the current economy. <br>Which I suppose is a rare plus since we can’t even afford to do these things to our bodies.

  I almost died at 29. It&apos;s been 2 1/2 years and one of my doctors still greets me with statements of awe that I&apos;m alive. I&apos;ve been noticing lines on my neck and creases in the corners of my eyes, and in a weird way there&apos;s something exciting about it, like it&apos;s proof that I&apos;m still here, that I continued to live and age. I couldn&apos;t afford it anyway lol, but I&apos;d never get botox or filler and take away the evidence of all the times I&apos;ve smiled, frowned, squinted, made the expressions that come with being alive.
